I grew up in a home full of music teachers and musicians. With both parents being college music professors, it's no surprise that I began music lessons at a very young age. Piano was first, then I began taking cello lessons. Throughout elementary school and high school, I spent a lot of my free time practicing and playing in string quartets with friends. I fell in love with the way music could express what I was feeling, even when words couldn't. 

When I went to college, I studied teaching piano and cello. When I started teaching students for an internship, I discovered that I loved working with students of all ages and backgrounds. No matter what each student's goal is in taking lessons, I enjoyed the opportunity to communicate my love for music with them.

Every person has music in him and the potential to be a musician that needs only to be nurtured. The goal of this studio is to produce students who are life-long musicians with a deep love for music. Lessons encourage the students’ enchantment with the idea of making music for themselves and communicating with others.

The Well Tempered Piano Studio is a Marinette-based studio offering piano and cello lessons, as well as early childhood music classes. The studio serves the areas of Marinette, Menominee, Peshtigo, and Oconto.
